September 2019 – Young adults are typically assumed to be open-minded, but Harris Poll results released in June indicate Americans age 18-34 are growing less open to spending time with LGBT acquaintances.

According to the annual Accelerating Acceptance report, young adults who feel comfortable interacting with those who consider themselves LGBT decreased from 63% in 2016 to 53% in 2017 and 45% in 2018.
