May 2020In January, President Donald Trump took a monumental step toward fighting against human trafficking. At a summit dedicated to combating the crime, the president signed an executive order titled Combating Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation in the United States.

“The order expands prevention education programs, promotes housing opportunities for survivors, and prioritizes the removal of child sexual abuse material from the Internet,” Trump explained.

The president declared that his administration is “100% committed to eradicating human trafficking from the earth.”
