May 2020Target stores abandoned the practice of separate dressing rooms for male and female shoppers four years ago. The experience of a Texas woman last year illustrates the dangers brought on by the policy. She saw a cell phone/camera being pointed at her from under the fitting room door as she was changing clothes.

“It’s an invasion of privacy,” she told a local television news show. “It was horrifying.”

“The man who violated this Texas woman’s privacy got away,” said AFA spokesman Randy Sharp. “Target’s policy allows him the freedom to return to the store and commit the crime again. We’re nearly four years into our Target boycott, but we’re not backing down.”
