April 2016 – “Just checking our email can result in a host of unwanted sexual words and images,” says B.J. Rudge, Ph.D. “The pervasiveness of this licentious culture has infiltrated the church.”

Executive assistant at Bill Rudge Ministries (billrudge.org), Rudge recalls a study cited while he was in graduate school. The study interviewed 200 male seminary graduates who had fallen victim to sexual immorality and discovered four common elements:

▶ The subjects spent no personal time with God.
▶ They had no accountability.
▶ Ninety percent fell into promiscuity while counseling women.
▶ They had felt that they were immune or too spiritual to fall into sexual sin.

BRM was founded by Rudge’s father, Bill Rudge, in 1977. The ministry offers a variety of resources aimed at furthering its mission to “share a living Savior with a dying world and motivate believers to be biblical Christians.” In addition to mission trips and evangelism at many Christian and secular venues, BRM offers a wealth of print and online resources on many issues important to Christians.
