January 2016 – The Morning Center, a project of Samaritan Ministries International, delivered its 100th baby in October 2015. The gospel-centered organization partners with other pro-life ministries working in inner city areas to meet the needs of underserved and abortion vulnerable women. They provide high quality comprehensive prenatal, birth, and postnatal care completely free of charge through private biblical charity.

The first Morning Center location opened in Memphis in 2013 and has served over 300 women and families. New locations are scheduled to open in neighboring states.

“When pro-life Christians learn of what we are doing,” said Morning Center executive director Les Riley, “and understand the unique role Morning Center is playing by taking this next step in the pro-life movement, they get excited. Normally they are most surprised by the fact that we have been able to do this without accepting any support from government funds.”
