May 2016 – AFA’s Meet at City Hall prayer observance is set for May 5, from 12:20 to 12:40 p.m., coinciding with National Day of Prayer.

At city halls across the country, individuals will gather to pray for a religious awakening in the nation.

Christians can organize their own Meet at City Hall gathering. Of course, anyone can simply show up and pray. If a more organized event is desired, a permit might be necessary but is fairly easy to obtain.

AFA suggests you invite members of your Sunday school class or church to join together and organize the Meet at City Hall event. Public officials, local pastors and church choirs may desire to participate.

Visit NationalDayofPrayer.org to find an NDP event in your area. This year’s theme is Wake Up America, based on Isaiah 58:1 – “Raise your voice like a trumpet.”
