May 2016 – Many public school curriculums are adding pro-abortion sex ed content. In three states, parents have been struggling to keep curriculum promoting abortion out of their kids’ schools. In Omaha, Nebraska, parents lost the fight when in January the Omaha Public School Board of Education approved sex ed that includes information on abortion and emergency contraceptives. The material is part of the Comprehensive Sex Education curriculum backed by Planned Parenthood.

In the Parkway School District of Chesterfield, Missouri, parents also spoke out against efforts to add a program that includes referrals to abortion services and advocates.

In Mississippi, parents are concerned about the same issue, as Senator Sally Doty (R) works to introduce Personal Responsibility Education Program into public school classrooms.

“PREP is a type of educational content that has Planned Parenthood fingerprints all over it,” said Rob Chambers, national field director of AFA.
