May 2016 – A child’s mother or father who attends public worship weekly enhances the child’s “eagerness to learn, variety of interests, creativity, persistence, and responsibility.” Those findings result from a Mississippi State University study of parental impact on early childhood development.

However, such information is ignored by political correctness that pushes for more intrusive public child care programs. For example, in March, Minnesota lawmakers introduced a bill to expand early learning programs to include preschool scholarships for at-risk children from birth through age five.

“Given how much policymakers are looking for ways to boost the school readiness of children, these findings point to an overlooked and often ignored means [i.e., the church] to that end,” according to World Congress of Families.
