July-August 2017 – On May 23, AFA president Tim Wildmon delivered another 500,000 #BoycottTarget signatures to Target headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
“I met face-to-face with Target executives, urging them to end this boycott by protecting women and children in their stores,” Wildmon said.
He added that Target representatives were gracious and respectful, but still rejected AFA’s request. They echoed Target CEO Brian Cornell’s words in an interview on CNBC: “We’re going to continue to embrace our belief in diversity and inclusion…,” code words for sticking with Target’s dangerous policy of allowing men to use women’s dressing rooms and bathrooms.
