October 2018 – Twenty-five years, and the Bible Gateway website has been viewed more than 14 billion times, according to its recent press release. The popular research site is home to more than 200 Bible versions in more than 70 languages.

The word love is the top keyword search, followed by faith, peace, hope, joy, prayer, Holy Spirit, grace, healing, and forgiveness. The number one Bible verse searched and shared is John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (NASB).

The top 10 countries using the site are the U.S., the UK, Canada, Mexico, Philippines, Columbia, Australia, South Africa, Brazil, and India.
