October 2018 – U.S. District Judge Carol Bagley Amon denied an injunction pursued by the New York Office of Attorney General against 13 individuals who counsel outside the state’s largest abortion clinic, Choices Women’s Medical Center in Jamaica, New York.

Eric Schneiderman, New York’s attorney general at the time, had attempted to silence the voices of Christians and pro-lifers. In her 103-page order, Amon dissected false claims of harassment and intimidation against the defendants, finding witnesses lacked credibility, and the OAG’s video footage fell far short of the required burden of proof.

Judge Amon explained: “…the video evidence contradicts the escorts’ accounts of protestor conduct on specific occasions.”
