October 2018 – The election of Donald J. Trump as president of the United States could be attributed to one main factor – the common interest of voters to reverse the political agenda of “progressive” liberals and socialists. For nearly a decade, an aggressive and entrenched liberal establishment steadily marched conservatives into a corner, effectively voiding their impact on the culture.

Liberals used the political power of the secular state to advance their radical agenda. It used the U.S. Department of Education to advance a facility usage policy to allow boys who think they are girls to enter school restrooms and showers designated for girls only.

They manipulated the federal court system to use rogue judges to violate the religious liberty of Christians by forcing them to choose between violating their deeply held religious beliefs or losing their businesses.

Furthermore, they used the U.S. Department of Agriculture to force a meatpacking plant to be silent about their beliefs in support of heterosexual marriage or have their business shut down. And don’t forget the IRS targeting conservative groups that filed for tax-exempt status.

“There’s a danger that the nation could return to that liberal stronghold with this fall’s elections,” said AFA president Tim Wildmon.

How could that happen? Remember this: The trend since the Civil War is that the party of the president in the White House nearly always loses seats in the House of Representatives in midterm elections.

Consider what liberals would do if they regain power in Congress, and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) becomes Speaker of the House. Liberals would most certainly obstruct the political process by sneaky legislation in the House to again advance secular socialism.

Having liberals, some with socialistic leanings, in charge would be disastrous. For every conservative and every Christian who is complacent and does not vote in the midterm, there is a direct increase in the odds of one or both congressional chambers shifting to a liberal majority.

“It is absolutely necessary for every Christian and every conservative to vote on November 6,” Wildmon said. “Or we may fall victim to the liberal landslide that has already decimated the moral fiber of the nation.”

▶ Liberals are no friend to the First Amendment. The threat to Christians’ freedom of public religious expression would likely be realized.

Government Debt and Spending
▶ Liberals like to tax, spend, and print money. Government debt is at an all-time high, surpassing $20,000,000,000,000. It is a travesty to saddle future generations with responsibility to pay that massive debt.

National Security
▶ With liberals in control of Congress, there will be no funding to complete the southern border wall, and no end to chain migration or the visa lottery.

Judicial Confirmations
▶ If liberals take control of the Senate, the confirmation of President Trump’s judicial nominees will come to a grinding halt.

Regulations
▶ Liberals like to use the deep state to force regulations on U.S. corporations, resulting in fewer available jobs.
