November 2021Seven-year-old Jade Britt from Marietta, Georgia, wanted to make a difference for veterans. Britt’s grandfather, a Vietnam vet, inspired her to help others who had served in the armed forces. In July, with the help of others in her community, Britt took initiative and raised $700 to create care packages for homeless veterans in Marietta. They delivered the packages to the Marietta Veterans’ Center for distribution to those in need. Britt’s mother, Holly Britt, said, “[W]e always want to help home first.”
