April 2020 – On February 5, the U.S. Senate voted against Congressional articles of impeachment that charged President Donald Trump with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. AFA Action vice president Rob Chambers said the impeachment charges were unconstitutional and lacking in evidence.
“Thankfully, common sense and wisdom prevailed, and the president was acquitted,” Chambers wrote in an AFA Action email (afaaction.net).
