April 2020 – Kanye West continues to share his testimony of conversion to Christianity through his Sunday Service, a worship-based concert featuring Kanye and his choir as well as a short gospel message, often delivered by Kanye’s pastor, Adam Tyson.
Sunday Service began as a private worship gathering on Kanye’s property, but in the last few months, the well-known rapper has carried the service around the country. In January, he and his Sunday Service choir performed at Strength to Stand youth conference in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Kanye also held a Sunday Service on the morning before Super Bowl LIV in downtown Miami’s Bayfront Park Amphitheater.
“I believe Jesus died for my sins,” Kanye told over 12,000 students at the Pigeon Forge event. “There was a time the devil had me. Do you know the good news?”
