January-February 2019 – Kathy Zhu (known on social media as @politicalkathy) has almost 50,000 social media followers. The University of Central Florida student gained notoriety when she chronicled her switch in allegiance from Clinton to Trump in the 2016 presidential election.
Zhu recently caused another social media stir when she tweeted her opinion after watching Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer. “Yesterday, I was pro-choice. I believed that women should have a say & the gov shouldn’t be interfering w/ our lives,” wrote Zhu. “Today, I’m pro-life.”
Zhu also explained that she did her own research after viewing the film about infamous Philadelphia abortionist Dr. Kermit Gosnell. After gaining new understanding of the horrors of late term abortions, Zhu urged her followers to go see the film as well.
