November 2019Due to her conservative views about homosexuality, YouTube shut down the account of a 14-year-old named Soph. Recently, YouTube has started shutting down multiple conservative accounts on the basis of claiming they were “hate speech.”

In her video Pride and Prejudice, Soph voiced her opinions on LGBT politics. YouTube reportedly terminated her channel and banned her from the site. Youtube then wrote Soph saying, “Our team has reviewed your content and, unfortunately, we think it violates our hate speech policy.”, 8/16/19
